Can window lettering leave a mark on my windows ?
Usually, no. However, there is less of a chance of this happening with window lettering that covers the window completely than with partial lettering, especially when the lettering is installed on a long-term basis.
Can lettering or images break my windows ?
If the lettering is applied to the exterior, there is no risk of breakage. However, if an image is applied to the interior, in winter, the contrasts in temperature are likely to make the glass crack. Is window lettering easy to remove ?
Lettering is relatively easy to remove when the temperature is above 15 degrees Celsius. This task is harder in the winter. The vinyl will be more breakable, and the process will therefore take much longer. If traces of glue are left, all you need to do is scrub them with soap. Perforated vinyl takes a bit longer to remove because it is more breakable than opaque vinyl. If you remove the lettering during the winter, do not use anything to heat up the vinyl, otherwise you can risk cracking the window. During the summer, a blowdryer or hot water can help remove the vinyl more easily.
How much time does window lettering last ?
There are multiple types of materials that can be used for a duration of a year or less, 2 to 3 years, or longer. Several factors must be taken into consideration. Let us advise you on the best products to suit your particular needs.
What resolution does my image need to be for the quality to be high ?
The standard resolution is 100dpi/100% of the format. However, if you have an image resolution of 200dpi/100%, that’s even better. The higher resolution your image is, the higher the quality of the final image will be. Can i install sticker decals on my windows myself ?
It all depends on your experience and the size of the stickers. We recommend you reach out to our installation service for a worry-free application.
